Rehab

Here at SF Rescue, we oversee all types of small and medium sized wildlife (e.g., skunks, beavers, coyotes, and birds). If needed, we also take on more challenging tasks like larger animals. We strive to rehabilitate the wild animals back to natural health and wildlife instinct so they can have a safe and healthy release.

Rehab

Although we rehabilitate animals, we cannot gurantee that all wildlife can be sent back into the wilderness. There are times where the animal has accidentally bonded with humans or too injured thus making them unable to be released because of lost animal insticts. In cases of an like these, we take accountability of the situation. The animal is either sent to another facility for personal care or become a service animal at our facility to destress volunteers and workers.

Rehab

We not only take in wildlife but also stray pets such as cats, dog, and birds. The strays stay in our facility for up to 2 months before they are either moved to a seperate adoption site or get rehomed with a new family! You can help us run these facilities by donating to us or any other rescues or by volunteering which gives experience working with animals and can be a fun and relaxing time. You can also contact us to adopt from our selection of strays in need of homes.

I highly recommend working, volunteering, or visiting here as it doesn't only bring up your relaxation levels but also your knowledge by getting to know and learn about our various animals. Only downside is our lack of equipment which affects our preformance with animals.

Volunteering at SF Rescue has helped me open up a new path as a future career. I recommend volunteering as it can be something strong in a college portfolio when applying for colleges and gives you new experiences with new animals!

When I first got this job, I wasn't really expecting to interact with animals that often. After getting to know the service animals, though, it only made me want to interact with them more and more! I feel much better now and I'm grateful to have been provided this opportunity.

I found my forever friend from SF Rescue. They take very good care of all their animals, making sure they are well treated and properly nourished. If I were to find an animal in need, I'd bring it directly to SF Rescue for their astounding animal care!
